FINAL DECISION TIME - RIMS!

Okay - I have evolved my thought process now that alot of you recommend staggered set-ups on the SLK... here is a pic of my remaining choices for rims (description below for each number)

1 - Nice rims but not available staggered front and rear

2 - Borbets offered in staggered

3 - Offered Staggered - Black inside 2-piece

4 - Cost-effective but not offered staggered

Hmmm cant really see the bottom ones, The ones that are not staggered are Not an option for me.

I would look at some of the MB tuners wheels, Just seem to look right on the car, But you will end up paying more!

Larger pictures would help.

What size are you going with? What is your budget?

I have attached extra large pictures of the rims themselves... I am going for 18" rims all around. My budget is flexible, but I am more attuned to the overall look on the car. Some rims I just do not care for - the ones listed below are most attuned to my taste of all the rims I have seen.

each rim is 1-4 sequentially from my above picture...

This one looks the best to me. The black goes well with the rest of your parts.

The darker center w/ polished lip makes the car looks meaner. I have this combo on mine. The original was just OEM polished w/ clear coat. Mine is 18x8.5 on both front & back & about 22 lb each

Cool

why are you keeping your options in a nutshell ??? there are SOOOOOOOOOOO many nice rims out there that tirerack-(im assuming by the pics) does not sell....... in those pictures, id go for the Staggered borbets... but id look outside the box when shopping for rims if i were you.... people ase for Budget when buying for rims because this is a BIG deciding factor... also, what exactly are you looking for in a rim ?

For example.. the first time I was wheel/tire shopping for my car I had a $1800 budget and wanted wheels that would add to the car in every way possible and that would pass as "sport o.e.m" wheels to the "untrained" eye... that is why I went for the Brabus reps... because no matter how you look at them or who you show them too they always add to the car... I now sadly have to admit that I am bored on the look and ready to move on but not to sell them, Im planning un purchasing a MUCH more aggressive and high-end setup but still keeping these 18s as my "roadtrip / track / spare" wheels....
