Many thanks to all, it was thru this board that I found out about the recall on the brake light on my '01 slk 230 and was able to have the dealer fix it at no charge.
This is my first mb and I really love it! My husband wouldn't let me get a convertible until he saw that this had a hardtop --- now he loves to put the top down LOL. Anyway.....
I bought the car about a year ago and have put about 4k miles on it. Since then the radio died (bought a new/used radio off ebay - works fine but won't light up at night although it did when I first installed it) and the keyfobs no longer seem to want to work the door locks or blink the lights (I did try new batteries). I know these are two very very minor issues but if anyone has any diy suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm by no means a mechanic or even close to one but if anyone has any suggestions for either the keyfob or the radio I'd really appreciate it.
