"Bra" for Front End?

I have another trip planned for a ride down to Manhattan. Got lots of bugs on the last drive. Can anyone recommend a place to buy a good fitting (custom for SLK?) bra for the front end? Bruce R. it looks you have/had one for yours, no?

I have a Colgan Custom bra for mine, had one for my 230 as well. I got the original one for the 230 from Mercedes when they sold them, and the new one came direct from Colgan.
You should be able to get them on the web cheap and easy enough. They only take a minute to put on, except for the first time. The first time is a bit*ch because you have to streach the crap out of them to get them on right. Do it in bright sunlight it goes easier...
The new Colgans are tight and don't flap or vibrate at speeds as high as 150 mph.............

This is a Colgan supplied photo. Their current catalog didn't have a pic of the SLK install.

Hey CTODWC, welcome to the club, hope you enjoy your stay with us.

When you get a chance add your model and year SLK to your avatar along with your general location, it often helps to answer questions you might have.........

I have been considering getting a bra for my '99 SLK with 10.600 miles. How well does the Colgan fit and does it need any mods for proper fitting. Thanks

Just ordered a Colgan one - I'll let you know how it works/fits when it shows up and post some pics.

I think it's going to be at least a couple of weeks though.
