Thank you for adding that. I find it quite useful.
The R230 and R170 roofs are largely similar, although the R230 roof is a little more complex. It has some locking cylinders in the frame and the rear window swivels for more compact storage. However, five of the cylinders are almost identical to the five cylinders in the R170, and the overall functionality is about the same.
I'm adding below a diagram with the location of the hydraulic cylinders...
