Red face 17's or 18's?

i was wondering what size tire to get if i get 18's are they too big and if i get 17's are they too small? idk what to get what would be better for an autocross car? i was just wondering if anyone could hrow me some advice on which would be a better pick and i am considering lowering the car!

IMO it doesnt make much diff as long as overall diameter is still the same.

ie. 225/45/17

or 225/40/18

18" may look a little sportier. But I still have the 17" OEM.

I've had 16s (stock), 17s and 18s. IMO not much difference between 17s and 18s - whatever looks nice. Those on the picture are 18s (Carlsson style rims and Continental tyres). Ride is firmer with larger rims of course as the tyre walls flex less.
Choose what you like, just get the rolling diameter right.
