Identify These Parts Please

I found these two guys in the trunk with my spare tire when I originally bought my car (see attached poorly photographed, fuzzy image). Not sure what they do, but they both looked a bit corroded. Part #s on them were 62147 and 45313.

Also, I was never able to locate my wheel alignment tool (the long thin rod that you use to line up the wheels when tightening the lug bolts back on). Where can I find one of these? I've removed and remounted the wheels before with no trouble, but I'd like to be doing things the proper way.

They look like the bushes that go inside the lower shock mount.

For a tool I purchased a 6" long bolt 12mm x 1.25 thread and cut head off.
