Maf Cleaning?

CAn I use Brake CLeaner to clean my maf sensor? and what part of the MAF do i spray? the Thin Metal Wire?

I used electrical contact cleaner. I read somewhere that brake cleaner is too harsh, but I could be wrong.

I sprayed pretty much the whole thing, but I focused on the metal wire. Good luck!

Yes it will work, spray thru the insert liberally and shake dry

This is the best stuff, but in the event you don't find it, CRC also makes an electrical contact cleaner (spray as well) that works pretty good. Like Baz says, spray liberally and allow to air dry - don't touch the filaments with fingers or cloth!

This worked for me.
