Exclamation New car/new leather smell products

Can anybody in the USA advise if there are any "new leather" sprays or similar products worth looking out for?

I understand that car dealerships have something along these lines.

Would appreciate any advice

I've seen leather scented air deodorizers at Walmart (our mega store that is putting all of America out of work, so they say). When I smell them they do not smell anything like a new benz or leather, maybe closer to a dead cow. What you can do if you really have to have that new car smell back, is remove the interior, replace the carpet and recover the leather seats and you'll have the smell back again.

Trust me you cannot go wrong with Zaino Z10. For $11.00 a bottle it cant be beat. I use it and it smells great.

There's this stuff called Maguire's that seems to work well on the wife's leather seats. She swears by it. Anyone hear of it before?

I use Maguire's leather wipes as well. I can't say that they have that "new car smell" to them, but I can say that they smell pretty good. I like it anyway (personal preference I guess). And they make the leather feel soft. If you do decide on using these be careful of using too much - some transferred to my pants the first time I sat in the car so that when I sat in my chair at work it made a rubbing sound like I was farting. Had a lot of fun that day!

I have never used Zaino Z10 so I cannot comment. However, I use Lexol and find it give back the new car smell very well.

It seems as though even the detailers cant agree . http://autopia.org/forum/car-detaili...=Leather+smell

One thing I know is that Zaino does work good at getting back the smell of leather and conditions it very well.

Another vote for Zaino. Even the wife has commented about how good the car smells.
