Ok now I need to find a good keyboard cleaner. The chunks were kind of easy but the rest is a mess...

I'll cherish that visual and pass on the olfactory!

Thanks for the feedback everybody, It's actually not for my car but another project I'm working on. (I'm gonna try the Zaino in the SLK tho')

New car Smell ??

Just buy a new car every year. Works better that way if you want the "New Car Smell".

Sick, sick man Bazzle. It's dead of winter here and we've had record breaking temps last week, over 90F in L.A. Thank goodness that's over and we are back to low 70's for the holiday. May even see some clouds for a change.

You don't have to buy a new car every year, just get it re-upholstered in new leather. Heck, most R170 SLK's are already due for new leather anyway.

I believe Buellwinkle is on the right track with his recommendation. If the rest of your car smells bad, you are loosing ground by just spraying.

A leather scent spray will work, but only for a short time. The secret is to clean and condition the leather (with your choice of product), then spray periodically. I use one made by Griot's:

REFRESHING CAR SCENTS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'VE GOT A NEW CAR
If your interior is not smelling like a new car anymore, it could be those bean burritos, drive thru french fries, or your dog has been smoking your fine Cuban cigars again. Here are two wonderful scents to freshen the air. The Leather Car Scent is great. It actually does smell like leather! The scent should last about a week with just a couple sprays under each seat. 4 ounce spray bottle.
