Hmmm...I checked and the diodes specified are simply generic 6 amp rectifier diodes. I'm going to try it...I'll report back on how it works.

(BTW: This is very good news for me -- it's inspection time!!!)

Okay...that works! But it ain't something for everyone...it requires soldering skills and so on...

So for those who can't do the diode mod, just use the more basic instructions I wrote a while back (no special tools needed)...and just live with the "bulb out" indicator.

For those who can do the diode mod, it's recommended!
