How-To... (gotta love 'em)

Reset FSS
Open the door, put the key on the ignition, close the door.
Move start switch into position "2"
Within the first 4 seconds after moving start switch into position "2", press the reset button for trip counter twice within one second.
The display for the service request is thus activated for 10 seconds
Within these 10 seconds move start switch into position "O". The service request continues to be displayed
Press reset button for trip counter and hold pressed
Move start switch into position "2"
Continue to hold reset button for trip counter (about 10 seconds) until the signal sounds and the new start distance appears in the display.

Reset Throttle Body
Open the door, put the key on the ignition, close the door.
Move start switch into position "2"
Press the gas pedal to the floor... past the kick down point
Hold the pedal there for 15 seconds
After 15 seconds while foot still planted, turn the key off but do not remove it
Release gas pedal... Wait at least 2 minutes while not touching anything in the car, don't open the door even.
After the 2 minutes start the car and drive off normally...

Dyno Mode
The device will have a sticker on it saying ABS/ASR (here lies is the root of all evil). By Disabling (unplugging) the traction control (ESP/ASR/ETs/ABS) module located in engine bay, near the brake fluid reservoir you'll see a black/sliver unit with lots of small metal lines coming out of it; disconnect the fat connector on the front, push up and out: You will now have entered "Dyno Mode"--the old school way. When you start the car now you will get a few warning lights on the dash... car now has NO ABS or TRACTION CONTROL - PERIOD. After you plug it back in, it will register a fault in memory (CEL) which a hand held OBDII reader can erase. Be safe and use this tid bit of knowledge wisely, I mean, don't terrorize the streets in "Dyno Mode."

yes I have,
click on "List of the top manuals MERCEDES-BENZ (user manual, user guide, operating instructions, instructions for use & instruction manual)"

enter "slk" in the search window and press return

click on your model

click on "Download the complete user guide "
it will then give you the code and you can download it

not simple, but its free
