Remove Spare w/o Removing CD Changer?

I thought I had read in this forum that it was possible to remove the cover that's over the spare tire/tool kit/jack withouth having to remove the CD changer. I have tried, no luck. The cover seems too rigid to get around the CD changer.

Any tips/tricks? I'd obviously like to avoid removing the CD changer if I get a flat.

Thanks!

Pull the side oposite to the changer up first.

I had a flat the other day and had to do it. Pull carefully and bend the cover a little. It can flex.
