R171 headlight conversion is complete

Everyone that has been following this - my R171 headlight conversion is now complete.

I have just had a phone call from my body shop to let me know I can pick the car up first thing tomorrow morning. They are just tidying it up and putting new badges etc on it tonight.

TOMORROW the pics will be posted up!!!!

For those of you who haven't followed my posts or new members - I have done a frontal conversion by modifying the front bar, 2 front quarter panels and bonnet/ hood as well as applying an R171 radiator support mount in order to put R171 headlights in my R170.

As far as I know this is a world first.

I will post the pics up tomorrow or sunday.
