BIG NOOBY QUESTIONS PLEASE READ

OK first:

My lighther works, but when I plug my IGo (car phone charger) it doesnt work, what it does is it makes my IGO smoke likes its burning something or frying my IGO's internals.

Second:

How many miles have you guys gone without changing out any of your belts? my friend is a Honda tech and he told me that I have about 3000 miles lest of them. I have 67400 miles. when should I change it??

thanks everyone

Big NON Nooby reply.

IGo must be faulty. Try in another car.

Belts are the 2 on the front. They need replacing when they start to show signs of shredding, have cracks in them, make a lot of noise OR you just feel its time.
They wont just break at exactly 70000miles.
(Maybe on a Honda??)

Typical rubber parts change-out is five years.
The newer rubber stuff doesn't always have a mileage limitation.

how much does those belts cost? could I do it myself? The two belts cover all the belts in front? it almost looks like I have more than two.
