Just an update incase anyone was interested.
The dealer found two problems, one was in fact the motor mounts (which were completely trashed, all of the oil sprayed out of them) and the second was a leaking rear differential (honestly, I am not sure what that exactly indicates...).
Total cost was 1500$, my extended warrentee is only covering 650$ (the motor mounts are a wear and tear item).

motor mounts are considered a wear item? That is pretty much BS in my book. You might as well say that pistons are wear items, or cams, or crankshaft, etc.

I thought that was crappy, too, but didn't know what MB's stance were on the mounts. I know they appear to wear out relatively quick. Why would something that supports the motor be considered a wear item?
