RE: superficial mods

Sombody had a MB star etched into an aftermarket acrylic windscreen and then had it lit from below. I can't find the thread that had pictures. I have decided I don't really want a solid windscreen as I think it takes away from the convertable "feel". I just use the the stock mesh wind deflector on long trips.

I like it. What's interesting is it still has the factory wheels. Made them look good.

That ebay item is interesting. The button below the roof switch is a push button starter according to the translation at babel fish. I guess you would have to put your key in, turn it to position 2 and then reach down and push the button to start? Seems kind of pointless to me. It also looks like it does away with the cig lighter as the push button and the lighted SLK is over the top of where the lighter is. It may make the storage compartment a bit smaller as well. Still interesting though.

Hey Ciarano....I don't know if you would consider this tasteful but this is what I have done:
Lorinser skirts
Reiger front lip
Expression lower rear lip
Paint door handles
rear AMG trunk spoiler
chrome exhaust tip
Brilliant silver carbon fibre interior
More to come in the way of brushed stainless rollbars, and pulley kit.

RE: superficial mods

Aren't I still the king of superficial mods on this board [?][?][?] :p

I ALWAYS photoshop my mods prior to installation ... graphics and stripes should be pretty easy.
