I find Top Gear both informative and entertaining to watch, however all three presenters and especially Jeremy Clarkson hate the R170 with a passion. 'Sloppy', dull, and 'girls car' are terms often used. Easy to say when you drive a F355 I guess...

The Britts will always have it in for the Germans! [}:)] [;)]
Anyway...how can you seriously take the word of a man who decides to road test the slk55 against the equivalent boxter by thrashing them round a deserted army training camp with a lazer detector strapped to him with the results being based on the number of hits by a hidden squad of snipers!! LMAO... [:D]

Ya he also has an sl55 and a range rover among others, and in a documetary which involved going to his mothers house that was on tv a few months back I noticed there was a metallic pink skoda parked in the driveway.... 'nuff said. [^]
Clarkson also has a "contract" with Ford... so they supply him with a car like GT40, and he says wonderfull things about them and slates German cars. I like Clarkson, think he presents the show very well. I just don't believe all he says, and if he don't like a merc or porsche and i do, well thats just life !
