Lowering Springs H&R or Eibach

Hi needs some help in picking some springs to lower my car.
Which springs are the better ones for lowering my SLK 230K with 17inch wheels. The H&R ones lower it by 1.5 at the front and 1.4 inches at rear, the Eibach ones lower it by 1.2 inches all round. Will the H&R ones rub and look to low, and how much do AMG suspension springs lower a SLK by.
I have H&R w\Bilstein, the rears will have a large negative camber, mine is 3.1....

H&R will give you the flexibility by adding pads if you want it higher, but I recommend getting a rear camber kit. Put on the Eibach bcause the nagative camber is about 2.0(R170 members post)

I disagree, Eibachs definently have a better ride...

Eibach springs are progressive, whereas H&R springs are linear.

I've had both. Eibachs are way softer than H&R's.

I like stiff suspension, but H&R's are really hard on the back on bumpy roads.

H&R Cup kit, questions ......

They are Progressive springs, does that mean less
stiff ride than linear springs !
And those who have the kit, what was the best looking set up for pads front and rear.
+ after installation is it recomended to have the
camber adjusted after the lowering ?
Victor 'in search of lowered look'
