Best winter tires

Which one do you suggest me? Bidgestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Dunlop, or others?
I want great grip on the water more then snow if possible.

I recommend going with the manufacturer's recommendation regarding wheel size and run 16" wheels and tires. This is better for grip in the snow. Buy a separate set of winter wheels which will also make changeover easier. This is what I did (I have the AMG 17� summer wheels). I run this setup with Dunlop Winter Sports which I like.
