Finally bought car stereo MP3 - JVC KD-LX 555R - check pics

Hi guys!

Recently I was asking about the good choice for a car stereo (looking for black, mp3 playable, amber light piece). Could not find one though.

Anyway, settled for a compromise. Narrowed to 3 options:
1. JVC KD-LX 555R (my choice in the end)
2. Blaupunkt Daytona/Toronto MP53
3. Sony MP850

Checked the newsgroup and no.1 was the obvious choice. Has everything, plays all mp3 songs etc. No 2 would be a good choice, but read that doesn't play all the mp3 songs. No. 3 would be good but read that the mechanism tends to malfunction...

So, with no.1 (put it in today), first thoughts:
1. mp3 reproduction is flawless
2. black color is perfect
3. when off it looks like an empty flat board
4. Color, well multicolor. Doesn't look that bad at all. Brightness adjustable etc.
5. remote controle: rulz;-)
6. Price: good (approx 350$)
7. Sound settings, clearness and volume: excellent compared to previous Sony cdx 4180

So if you hesitate, I recommend it. Have have tried to enclose some pics (unfortunately taken in half dark with my mobile cellphone), but getting some errors. Will try to publich them in my private album.

Haven't checked yet. It is like 8 inches of snow here and still falling. It has a brightness setting on a scale from 1 to 10. I think it will do just fine.
