Heres how to remove pulley. I did this on my spare SC on the bench. Dont know where to get bearing. I would prob try an Aircon recon place.

I know this is an old thread but... I found a place to get the clutch bearing. I have not purchased it yet.. so I can not vouch for the dealer but they've responded very quickly to my emails and been quite informative. It's rollingperformance.com and they (chris) quoted me a price of $29 plus shipping. The make and model I asked about was the Nachi 30BG04S13DST2 Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing based off the first post. He is not sure if they have the rotor bearings but he did supply me with the measurements of what they have. A direct quote "The needle bearings I have are 17 x 24 x 22 mm and are closed on one end if that helps."

My question is can somebody here verify the measurements of the rotor bearings on the M62 clutched supercharger. I haven't pulled mine apart yet and would like to have the parts ready before doing so.

Thanks
David

Its the same bearing used in 99% of aircon pumps.
Just get one from a bearing shop or aircon recon place.
The T2 on the end is not that important.

I think you misunderstood my question. I'm wondering about the 2 bearings at the end of the spindles. I don't have a part number for those. I'm wondering if the dimensions of the ones they have match the ones in the mercedes m62. They are dealing with GM eatons and are not sure if they are the same.

Inner Kompressor bearing dimensions (2 bearings from the back of SC) are: outer diameter is 23mm, the inner dia is 17mm, and the length of the bearing ist 20mm. The name and Part.No. of this needle bearing is: INA FC654 Those bearings are for axial movements of spindles and are prone to fail.

Then you have also 2 ball bearings with orings (if this orings fail, you have SC oil in intake), which are INSIDE the kompressor casing (between gear section and compression section). Those bearings you DO NOT HAVE to change (they are also VERY HARD to remove), because they last forever and and are only for radial movements of spindles.

Then you have also pulley bearing NACHI, which i think you already know.

I hope i helped you.

Extremely helpful. I've emailed them to see if they offer those bearings as well. Anything else I need to know about changing the bearings? I assume it's just a matter of taking it in, having the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in. I assume also that they are all prepacked with grease. Do I need to lube them up before putting them in?

Thanks again

David

Bazzle or anyone else who feels called upon. Do you need to align anything or space clearence in the clutch when you pur the new one in. Or can you just put it back together....

Just put it back together. If it rubs I cant remeber if there are thin thrust washers behind it or not to space forwar.
Just give it a go.
The bearing dims will ensure it sits in same place as before it was removed. The clutch face apperas to be sintered metal so just give that a wipe with degreaser.
