Any effect on new SLK prices from the exhange rate trend?

Is MB still eating the losses from the dollar meltdown against the Euro or have they adjusted upwards lately?

Anything to get the resale values up on this car. [:)]

While I was a little concerned that my cost would go up from the time my vehicle was reserved, it didn't. Picked it up mid December, same price as originally quoted. Haven't seen any changes in price on the mbusa website... Now, when the new cars come...

All the German companies have been forced to become experts in hedging currency positions over the years. It's like they're insured against currency movements. Porsche nearly was wiped out in the eighties, the last time a president Bush trashed the dollar, they have learned.

Still, a European buyer can come buy a Carrera GT in the US, and buy a Cayenne with his savings.
