Where to get topsider oil suction machine for oil change? Supplies?

I want to do my own oil change on my 98 slk230. I was looking at the direction over at slk32.com
URL: http://www.slk32.com/pages/oilchange/oilchange.html

Anyway, it says you will need topsider oil suction machine, I can't seem to find one at the site he said. Anybody know where I can find one? What other supplies do you recommend I buy? Also, where's the best place to get the oil filter? THanks.

Some more issues: he says to run engine so oil can warm up but not too hot or it'll melt the hose. What kind of time am I looking at here. And what does torque to 25NM mean in these directions:

"Lubricate the washers with fresh motor oil and re-insert the assembly into the canister (shown below left). Torque to 25 NM. "

Since you live in Tempa, you should be able to go to any boating supply shop and buy one or a similar product. I have one that is made of clear plastic and you can see the oil coming out and measure how much you have taken out and then just replace with the same amount. Boating supply shop will have it because that is the only way you can do a oil change on a boat that has a built in engine.

Torque to 25 NM is for the oil filter cap, that you have the remove to get to the filter.

Cool, does it have a measuring system and I guess those pipes are clear?

You should know that the oil filter for the SLK230 is different than the oil filter for the SLK32. For the SLK230 you will not have the plastic part that goes into the filter, or will you have the small o-rings, you will just have the filter and one large oil ring that is for the cap. Also note the the oil filter for the SLK 230 will have one end that is sealed, that end goes into the cap, the open end goes down into the housing.

That device looks like the one I have, but the pump part is inside. I measured the device by putting in a quart of oil and marking the outside, and etc.

Thanks a lot for your help. So it is actually even easier than the directions at SLK32? BTW, I am an idiot and still don't understand some things. Torque to 25NM? I still don't get it. Also, do you leave engine on or what? Directions say to warm up engine? For how long? 10min and then shut off, then get started or leave on?

The suction machine costs $63 shipped. Is that about how much I would expect to pay at a local boat shop or something like that?
