I was driving my SLK320 today and after a turn, the car beeped, and a picture on an oil can displayed along with the letters HI where the milage usually displays. Any ideas what this meant.
It means oil level in your crankcase is above max level!
Centrifugal force during a hard turn may have caused the warning light to come on.<br>

Re-check your oil level on a flat surface about 15 minutes after engine shut down. If level is above max mark, you must drain some oil to bring the reading down.<br>

Do not overfill crankcase.
I was thinking this, the light did come on after a hard turn. I have not changed the oil for 4000 miles so I think the hard turn is what caused it. I will check though - thanks
