Does the SLK 320 have a resonator in front of the muffler?

The '32 does,a big one, and that may be another reason for the tire fit instead of a spare tire.

No, it's strange looking, a little like a doughnut without a hole....

a flattened sphere, and a new mounting bracket farther back in the suspension area.

You mean like a cream filled doughnut? Does it look like they modified the underbody?

To be honest, I just saw this big thing in front of the muffler...

when I took the left rear wheel off to clean the brake dust and rust on the inside of the wheel. Didn't have the time to get under and really look around. I might do that tomorrow, I have to pull the front pan under the engine and clean there before the weekend.

Don't forget the Q-tips for the tire threads! Are the wheels light?

I checked with Olympic Forign Auto Parts on Monday, no luck yet.....

The car is way to new I guess, but the shape of the pad is one of the standards that Mercedes uses. It could be that the pad composition is what gives it an odd ball part number and is unique. I had the parts people check th see if there was anything like them on Tuesday.<br>
I'll try to get some photo's of the resonator, but I'm a little busy right now. Promise I'll try ASAP.
