Brabus Wheel Weight, here it is....

A lot of people have been asking about wheel weight.

Since JDs post with his Carlsson wheels, I wanted to know the weight of the Carlssons.

To compare, I weighed my wheels and tires on a bathroom scale.

The fronts 18 x 8.5 with 225/40 18 dunlop SP 9000 tires worn about 5000 miles weigh 50 lbs. each.

The rears 18 x 9.5 with 255/35 10 dunlop sp 9000 tires worn about 5000 miles weigh 54 lbs each.

I'd love to find out what the carlssons weigh!!
I think JD said the split spokes were 45 lbs, front and back. Not sure if that included the tire.

I'm sure those weights include the tires. Otherwise, those are very heavy wheels.

Yes, I think they're around 28lbs without tires.
