The replay on speedvision is at 11pm EDT. Overall, a favorable (more)
review. Some memorable comments made are "turn off the ESP and the fun begins", "just hit the gas and the rear wheel drive does the rest", "wolf in sheep's clothing", "good lateral support", "power in excess", "constantly has over 400NM of power on tap", "speedometer skyrockets"... They also talked about how imressive the brakes were, and of course our Vario roof. It's really cool to see every shot of the speedo showing the ESP light on (disabled). Top speed is limited at 155mph.
The burnout from a standing start is very impressive. They drove the car relatively hard, see the tail swing out a little out of every corner. Motorvision is known for their crazy driving tests on their really tight test track (they didn't do one today), so I suggest watching for the full SLK32 test in an upcoming episode. Last week they drove a CL 55 on there and it looked like a lot of fun.
There's also a review of the Techart Boxter, a really sweet looking car, and very expensive. They got the car to do some Zanardi donuts in a parking lot. It took Techart to make a Boxter match the SLK32 in performance (based on the numbers provided).
I'm reinstalling my computer with video capture right now, and will have a capture of it before the end of the night (I hope).
Thanks for the heads-up. I caught the re-broadcast. It was short, and a little glossy, but...
a nice overview nonetheless. Only about three and a half minutes, it felt too short and didn't cover much.
More quotes:

"...an established brand among roadsters"
"The interior is top notch" (not sure if I agree completely)
"Power in excess"
"The spedometer skyrockets..."
"The SLK's suspension enables breathtaking curve speeds at a high comfort level"

"All in all an understated sports car with excellent performance"

They didn't really test the car, though, and quoted only Mercedes performance numbers.
