I inquired about that. It's similar to the other pulley kits.

Scroll down or search for "pulley", most of the issues have been covered.

I think these kits are basically all the same. When I spoke with Kleeman, they did say that the boost will be increased to about ~0.9bar.
pulley kits

The kits are not all the same but differ in pulley size (=boost increase) and 'sophistication'. The now infamous 3000-3200 rpm lump can be beaten but requires additional mods on the intake side (air mass sensor) and/or software mods. I have a 25cm pulley (H&S)in my 230SLK which increases boost to a measured 0.8 bar (series is 0.5 bar). The airmass sensor has been 'relocated' with altered piping (by Vaeth), plus GIAC chip = smooth and significantly better acceleration throughout the available band. No lump, no problems so far.

You're using the GIAC chip with your H&S pulley?

Your supercharger still has the clutch, right?

When I went to GIAC, they mentioned that their sofware was tuned to 230K's without the clutch that's what I was hesitant to try it out.

Was the mass air sensor moved up closer to the intake runner?

Thanks.

Arnee, I think Eddie has an older SLK200 (i.e. no supercharger).
