Hi Brian, I just read a posting about one of the members getting a 230 loaner as his 320 was in the
shop. He called it a nice "Little" car, am I wrong or aren't both the 230 and 320 SLK the exact same body dimensions, length and width? I have had several people refer to my car as a
nice "Little" car and it bugs me for it seems to me like they think it's a toy and not a real car.
Am I wrong to feel this way?

Thanks for your help
Ernest
Its not you, its the inferiority complex of that person. They think that since they have the 320 somehow they are superior. This is probably why they bought a Benz in the first place. I'd be glad to show them how to drive my "little" one in circles around their "bigger" one any day. SJM
Of the four German Roadsters, the SLK IS the smallest. It's also the strongest and safest, and from what I've seen draws the most approving looks. Don't sweat what others say, unless they helped pay for your "toy".
Didn't he say '99 C230 Kompressor instead of SLK230?
I've had alot of people talk about the SLK as a little car. It is small, but it's size is part of it's attraction, and at around 3100 lbs, it weighs more than most midsize cars on the road.
Please accept my apology, I meant no harm towards the poster but it jogged my memory of others who
have said that to me upon seeing my car and that was what was bothering me.
I also have to stop posting so late at night when I can't even read the postings correctly. Yes he did say it was a C230 Kompressor, and as I said I apologize.
Thanks for answering my posting
