I don't wear a watch! I'm too prissy to wear a cheap one, but too cheap to buy a nice one. :)

What's up with the watch fascination?

I've seen this question asked on Porsche, BMW, and other M-B forums. I don't get it, but maybe it's because I'm convinced that the only people who notice an expensive watch on your wrist are people that want to sell you expensive items.

Anway, I have a Citizen Eco-Drive 200M Professional Diver. I've also got one of the SLK Chronograph watches that was a gift from a friend in Germany.
I tend to agree, Brian. If you walk into a dealership or whatever, notice how they look at your

wrist with a quick glance. That's when they know if they should kiss a$$ or not.

I assume

that most people that own semi/expensive/exotic autos that they more often than not also have watches that are not average either, BUT there is nothing wrong with the Casio/Swatch, etc. as even the ones that cost $5 keep just as good if not better time (in my case) than the Rolex types... I personally find it odd to see someone driving a say S-500 and see a $10 whatever on their wrists. AGAIN, no offense to anyone. I can't tell you how many people I know that make large $$$ and wear a less than $50 watch. I have my own opioions but, I should leave it at that... They probably can afford the S class by not wasting their $$$ on expensive watches. Heck, for the price some bring, you could hire someone to follow you around and tell you what time it is!
