Sounds like you lost control and slid. Think about some advanced driver training that can help you learn how to maintain control in an emergency. Sorry if I sound preachy; just hate to see young drivers getting themselves into situations they can't handle. Glad you're okay.dhcp32032.er.usgs.gov

My S.O.'s son started with one right after he got his driver's license, and now that he's 18 he's heading to Road Atlanta for Panoz's Racing School for a week. It can be addicting! (And at the very least, will make you a much better driver.) Take care.dhcp32032.er.usgs.gov

Very fun and helped me learn alot about controlling the car. I would recommend a high speed accident avoidance and skid control class.
