almost died yesterday. my 88 bmw saved my life. slide through a turn and ran into a large tree, tota

ling the car. the cabin of the car remained intact, despite the fact that the engine was completely ruined. please be safe guys and remember that in the rain it takes 3 times longer to stop.
spider-tn041.proxy.aol.com

And Raver, remember, it's not just that it takes longer to stop...

Sounds like you lost control and slid. Think about some advanced driver training that can help you learn how to maintain control in an emergency. Sorry if I sound preachy; just hate to see young drivers getting themselves into situations they can't handle.

Glad you're okay.
dhcp32032.er.usgs.gov

Plus, an advanced driver training class can be lots of fun....

My S.O.'s son started with one right after he got his driver's license, and now that he's 18 he's heading to Road Atlanta for Panoz's Racing School for a week. It can be addicting! (And at the very least, will make you a much better driver.)

Take care.
dhcp32032.er.usgs.gov

yes, very fun. I took one and I got to wip Vipers around the track and skid them.

Very fun and helped me learn alot about controlling the car. I would recommend a high speed accident avoidance and skid control class.
