Welcome to the forum! Please take a minute to fill inn your profile with car model and location, which makes it easier to help you in the future. I assume you mean R129, and you mean convertible top, not metal roof. In that case I would spend a few minutes doing a search here and you will find many threads on online suppliers of fabric. Regarding fitters, your UK fellow countrymen will hopefully chime in. Prestige autotrim in Birkenhead and d:class in Surrey have frequent ads in the auto magazines.
I bought my replacement soft top made with identical German fabric from eBay.
I had it fitted by a specialist in soft tops in Hove Sussex when I was visiting the UK.
Mind if I ask who that was in Hove as I was going to import a KHM roof ( unless you can suggest a better one )
Also how much did they charge just for the fitting please
Thanks
I dont know who as been talking to Benica about our weather . But he is so wrong . But i must say the weather has been fine for three days .Just hoping its not four days . If it is four, then thats our summer gone for this year...
Let us know how you get on, I've heard good things too!
Mines ok at the moment but I'm planning a replacement, The Hood Guys sounded very professional when I called them.
