i never knew about this car. how exciting its manual. any ideas what tranny they used?

From what I heard it the Porsche 928 gts manual and they modified to fit the SL V12....

it's fitted with a 6 speed and, iirc, the 928 had a 5 speed. the porsche also used a torque tube and rear mounted combined transmission/final drive so it'd be difficult to make that work in 129. i would guess the box used is a e39 bmw m5 6speed getrag - be great to know for sure.

Exactly! It's very reminiscent of Koening's models, but it seems a tad toned down.

opinions on this everyone?!?! yay or nay. i kind of like it. especially that rear spoiler. i love that look.
