Tony I'm drooling as usual but what about that SL280 lettering on the back?

Good luck with the new car .

Cheers.

Sorry for the misunderstanding Mick..... That SL is not my new car.... I just saw it on the web with the same type of wheels that I have..... I thought it funny how the homemade stickers and the fake center caps of the wheels ruining the car look..... Other than that the car do look nice.....

Lol Tony no need to be sorry mate don't worry . Instead it's me getting old and dumb .

By the way how much could the 5.8 be worth once it's finished and restored?

Sorry once again and the best of luck with your new project .

Cheers.

I would like to pick this one up...... But someone pick it up already.....

He is restored it...... That is a good news for the car......

It should be worth something....... Otherwise someone won't pick it up that fast..... There are only 4 Brabus 5.8 in an R129 SL body in the world....

The car is with me. it was not sold as scrap as many would think but as a car for repair.

everyone around me says it doesn't worth fixing but I'm gonna do it anyway
should be done in 4 month according to my mechanic
looking at another US$25,000 fixing

I'll get you guys posted

Fact: This is why I wanted a Brabus 5.8 R129 so badly
(I just got a set of block VI to replace the set you see there)

Just didn't realise how rear the car is
I bet previous owner doesn't know which is why it has not been cared for

are all 4 left hand drive?
