How much more exhaust sound increased by deleting resonator?

I have this exhaust already installed and the noise is astonishing already, but I'm wondering.

How much louder will this car be if it looses its resonator with this muffler?

My car is exempted from the annual air pollution test because its so low it bottoms out on the dyno's they use to test for emissions so its not something I'm very concerned about failing. M119 is perfect on the idle tests anyways, and loosing a cat is an immediate failure.

Speaking of which, does anyone have the 828 option on there R129? :D

A couple months ago, I installed a Renntech resonator bypass pipe on my wife's 2001 SL600. It increased the exhaust sound by about 15%. Another member here installed it on his SL500 and experienced about the same results.

I bet that exhaust looks and sounds great on your car. You have a very nice looking SL. I really like the color combination with those gorgeous wheels.

Why thank you!

Back to the exhaust, I saw the resonator bypass on eBay and was rather low on funds to pay for something like that. Except right now if I see it ill snatch it up right away. I assume this rear AMG box already makes the car louder, and I'm just curious if without the resonator ill get a growl from the motor, not this "Fart Cannon Honda Sound"
