I'm new to BenzWorld
I have a silver/silver 2000 SL500 sport that is essentially stock except for a Kleemann Supercharger (installed by Phil Smart Mercedes for me @ 40k miles 2 years ago) and H&R springs ( lisc. plate SL500HP ). The car now has about 52k miles and has been a joy. I have previously had 9 MB's including a '04 E500 and an '85 "grey market" 190E 2.3-16. I am particularly interested in a brake upgrade and exhaust modification to round out this SL.Any ideas would be well recieved!!

Kleemann Supercharged SL500
Mike has had the pleasure of speaking with a new member that just joined the forum. His name is Brian and is going by the screen name (maplevalleykleemann).
He owns a 2000 SL500 which he's modified with a Kleemann Supercharger System.
We came across his first post in the "New Member Introductions" section of Benzworld and have invited him here to share pics and pretty much anything he cares to share with us concerning his modified car.
Being he's new to the site he asked us to start an introductory thread for him and also post some of the pictures which he's emailed us.
So for your viewing pleasure here's the first (and quite possibly only) Kleemann Supercharged SL500.
SL55 (R129) 5.7L AMG Kompressor engine, 85mm TB, SLR cam shafts, MAHLE forged pistons, ported heads, long tube headers, full AMG exhaust, AMG P030 Brakes, Quaife LSD
CLS55 (R219) 85mm TB, RENNtech air box, Kleemann Headers, 175mm lower & 84mm upper pulley, 550cc injectors & looped rail, EC dyno tune (528rwhp/598rwtq), and a custom IC reservoir behind my front grill to keep things cool

Am I to understand that you have the OE struts, shocks, and shims to get the height of your suspension?
Did you go with the Stage 4 package at KLEEMANN Kompressor System V6(M112) & V8(M113)?

Was the Kleeman blower system fitted in Germany or the USA?
I'm minded of Alex's bad experience with Kleeman USA of their abysmal attempts to tune his car!
Are there any performance figures for mvk's blown SL500?

wholey crap! nice looking engine in there. ALTHOUGH i like the looks of the HPS set up better but daymn! nice car. Is he close for a track run? welcome to the forum.

Hello Brian, and welcome aboard!
Just out of curiosity how much boost are you running with your Kleeman setup
and what kind of power output figures are we looking at here?
Definatly a serious M113!!! Hands down!!!
