Most annoying and embarrassing problem

SO i get in the car today ready to go to work , when i get to a stop sign outside my house, "cute little female about my age is getting in the car " bamm!! my car starts honking and will not stop . The end

Yes my car will not stop honking until i turn it off , and when i turn my steering wheel i hear to be a piece of medal moving around in there.

I can beat that...

On a recent trip to the United Kingdom I called into a parts shop to quickly pick up a spare for my motorcycle.
As I thought I would only be a minute or two I parked my rented car across three cars parked outside of a gym next door.
The part to be picked up took longer than expected and when I rushed out of the shop there were about eight angry looking women who had just come out of their aerobics class.
I flashed them a sheepish grin as I pressed the remote to unlock the car, then jumped into the car and slammed the door.

It then dawned on me that I wasn't at home but in a rented RHD car and I was sitting in the passenger seat.
With the eyes of these women still fixed on me, I got out, and with all of the dignity I could muster I walked round to the drivers side got in and drove off.

In 1982, I brought a team of jet engine technicians to a Pakistani Air Force base to assist with F16 operations. There was a fleet of new RHD Toyota Corollas waiting for us at the airfield where we landed. The Base Commander asked us to each take a car and follow him to the Officers Club for a briefing. When he had us all assembled at the briefing. His first words were:

"Well, I knew the Americans had arrived. At the first turn leaving the field, I looked in my rear view mirror and saw ten Toyota's with their windshield wipers going on a sunny day! Let's hope flight operations go better."

Nothing!!!! We are just having fun at your expense!

You need to remove the driver air bag. Move the steering wheel all the way up and out. Disconnect the battery. In the back of the steering wheel there are two torx screws holding the airbag in place. Remove then and ently pull the airbag off the steering wheel. REMEMBER, there is a small connector to the airbag. Gently remove it. You will then see all your horn wires and the spring loaded ring. You must have had something come loose or there is a shorted wire. I think the main power wire is BLUE. Play around with it until you get the horn to stop blaring.

I'm sorry, I read the thread to mean that you wanted people to share their most embarrassing automotive moments. Apparently others made the same mistake.

OK Let me understand this.

LOL.

1. Going to work.

2. Cute female.

3. Got your attention.

4. Big bamm, honking, non stop.

5. Turning steering wheel big / metal sound.

6. Something got stuck between the spokes.

Sounds perfect to me, ( typical male reaction. )

Solution get out of the car and talk to the girl.
I am sure she will like the attention.
You may get a home run.
Go for it.

Don't turn it off.

Regards.
aam.
