The pump runs via a relay controlled by the top controller. The relay is mounted at the pump. It's simple to check, and Redliner posted the schematic.

It might be simple to you Bob - I'm sorry but I cant make head or tail of that schematic without seeing where the other wires go to.
I can see a7/5m1 goes to the motor etc, but that is not shown on the schematic, it seems like trying to breathe underwater with a tank & no mouthpiece!!
I have emailed autodata a few weeks ago to try & get one of these discs -but haven't had a reply. I don't suppose anyone over there has one they could send or sell me - if so how much would it be?
Life would be so much easier with a full circuit diagram

I would just like to thank everyone for their help with my roof problem
I have finally (after 6 months or more) got a new controller & it now works perfectly

Just a word of warning to you all:
DONT JUMPSTART YOUR CAR WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE ROOF CONTROLLER.
that's what caused my problems in the first instance & having spoken to dozens of people about it now find it is the main cause of them going wrong!

The biggest problem I had was that the controller I bought first from Ebay didn't work & spent 2 weeks thinking it was a problem with the car - but I didn't know it was faulty until my repair man opened it & found it had been full of water I managed to get my money back & have now found another one from ebay that works perfectly.

Once again thanks & I must try & find that cassette !!
