If your posts are currently at zero you will have to post several TEST posts in the

We hope to provide answers to your technical questions as well inviting you to join in and add your own advice and comments to other member's topics.
We've had mention made about SHOUTING so please do not type in capitals when posting. Another thing we have received is about huge graphics used as signatures in private messages=PM .

This issue has been discussed before but with new members always joining it has to be mentioned again.
Please do not put large photos of your or other vehicles as your signature.
It uses a lot of the forum's bandwidth and also very quickly fills up the topic page if the poster with a huge signature replies many times on the same page, it also becomes very boring and annoying especially if the picture is a bigger version of their avatar.
If you want to show off your car post nice big photos in the sticky topic
R129 Photos then just add the link to your photo in your signature, members can then just open the link if they wish.
If you really feel there is a need to display an image other than an avatar please limit the image size to a few kilobytes.

The chances are that your question has already been covered before so use the 'Search' feature, located on the top right side of the forum, before posting. Simply type in a keyword e.g. Hydraulic. This will bring up all posts on that topic.
For more advanced, selective, and deeper searching select 'Advanced Search', type in keywords such as Hydraulic, use the drop down for additional options, and choose the R129 forum if the search is related to our R129 models. Or you may choose to Search all the forums for a specific topic. As an Example please see the below JPG's. Double click on the JPG if it needs be to enlarged.
If your particular query is not covered after carefully reading through the search results, post your topic as follows.
* Post a clear and concise question.
* State the year, model, and mileage of the vehicle involved and also your location.
* State the exact nature of the problem and include any recent work carried out to the vehicle prior to the fault.
