So, whos gonna be the first 1999-2002 SL500 to have a Kleemann system.

I've heard the Kleemann's put out incredible torque numbers.

I would love to get in on it, but my 1991 is a few years too short - I need to start off with a few more basic items anyway (ECU re-map & exhaust, etc)

Hey, dont forget this thing costs $11,000 brand new.

If you can pick it up for $4000 or under, then I would consider it to be a great buy which should also add some extra value to your car.
Dont forget Kleemann has a good name and excelent reputation.

I'm seeing this as a great opportunity. I just hope someone else in this forum does as well.

Take it from me, having an R129 that out performs a newer SL55 AMG is a better feeling than buying a new car.

In fact, doing this makes you want to keep your car for another 3-4 years, which in the long run, would save you the money you would have dished out on a new vehicle.

For me, this is a win-win.

It's near impossible to find a Kleemann for that price, I bet the reserve is between $6500-$6800 .
