The last owner ( a friend of mine) had some good work on it, but it is due for some real TLC. Repair vacuum lines, repair ignition switch, MEGA-detail the exterior & engine.
Nothing feels better than driving with the top down. Changed the grill about a year after I bought it. I will drive this beautiful car until it tells me please no more.........and yeah, it does get kinda warm in Arizona.

MY 1990 300SL
This car is still in original condition, paintwork, soft top etc only one previous owner and only 72K on the clock with full MB service history. Had 49K on the clock when I bought it in July 2006. I have always been a fan of this model right from when they were first introduced .HOT_DAY_AT_RUTLAND_WATER.jpg
I think I have posted my 1999 SL500 here before. However, the car has just has a full body restoration (a substantial part of which, more than half, was at Mercedes-Benz's expense) to deal with minor corrosion and 160,000miles of use. The car is looking better than ever, although the car was not 100% clean when I took the photos this morning. Excuse the idiot with the camera whose shadow keeps intruding, too.
