This is My 1995 SL 500 w/ 45,816 miles in showroom condition. I'm the second owner, and have only driven it almost 5,000 miles in the 25 months I've had her. I was an MB tech for many years, now it's just a nice hobby. I may consider selling this car soon... if anyones interested shoot me an e-mail. G'day all from Sydney Australia, thought I might post some pics of my sl.
Was told it was genuine AMG when I Bought it, didn't think much of it not trusting car dealers and all, but since been told by Mercedes-Benz that its a AMG 500sl 6.0. It certainly looks the part, however since reading up on them in this forum i'm not so sure. Might be original and someone took out the assorted goodies like the 300kph speedo etc. All I know is what Mercedes told me and that it bloody flys, so any more info would be a great help. cheers guys

Here's my 92 500SL. I imported it from Japan back in January. Absolutely love this car! There isn't one dent anywhere on the body - it's mint. The interior is gorgeous (although don't have any photos here to show you yet!). 322 HP, AMG kit, 400 watt Alpine/JVC stereo system, only 75,000 km! The thing just hauls - had it up to 210 km/h with the top off...only slowed down because my eyes were beginning to mist up due to the speed.
However, because of everything above, my wife is making me sell it...to buy a Benz wagon.
