Hi people, yesterday I spent a nice day at the Bologna Motor Show but unfortunately I couldn't keep my promise of talking to some ZF people there because ... they were not there.
There was no ZF stand so I couldn't collect any useful infos for all of us about an LSD for the R129.
Sorry about that.
If you are interested we may have a group buy.... to achieve lower price!!
Now that you mention it o_Anapodos... I recall Tech-Tune maybe contacted some other tuners in the US that mentioned him the Quaife Differential but I dont' know what ened up from that conversation.
Even if they don't list it onder the R129 section, I had a look at the W210 which should be similar in construction to the R129 and maybe it's possible.
Maybe if StuartKnight is willing and has the time to go there since it's near him he can give us more infos and views. Of course I will reward him with a pint of Guinnes when I go at his .
well I'm very glad to announce that if anyone is interested for a limited slip, there is a workshop here in Greece that can convert the original diff to a limited slip differential.
Now i will have to find a diff for mine to take it to them! They also told me that they can fix the locking % how much we want!
Well, two months now, i was hearing strange noises from the rear left side and i couln't realise what it was... and yesterday i told myself why not check it out because any strange noise is not a good sign... So i removed the 2.82 diff i had on it and i placed the old 3.67 (extremely too short ). All the strange noises were stopped. And when i opened it big pieces were falling appart...
Now i must look for a 2.82. diff, Until then i have a top speed of 207 km only! But... nothing can pass me!!!

chriswufgator as far as I can understand from what o_Anapodos... says about the shop in Greece is that he needs a good normal diff to be converted to LSD. Am I wrong o_Anapodos... ?
Sorry to hear about your differential tho o_Anapodos...
Cheers.
