Fan clutch problem

i have a 92 500sl with 92k,i replaced radiator, and shorty after the fan clutch(would not disengage at any temp)now after fresh start it will engage for a short period and then disengage and it's fine until temp just over 80-82c and then it seems to run until you ride it at speed for alittle while and then it only stays disengaged for a short time.Anyone been there, done, that.
