NO LEAK fixed my hydraulic fliud leak at winshield
i fix the leak in my 1998 sl500, by adding NO LEAK brand powering steering fluid to my resorvior and allowing about a week to work it way through the system . the leak stoped and it has not returned , that was about 15 months ago . i took out enough fliud fromm my resorvior located in the trunk and added all of the no leak. the NO LEAK brand fluids has a wed page which explains the product . i do not have any assocation with this company they have a great product which has saved me hundreds of dollars and headaches. all of you have saved me money through this forum and i hope i can do the same for you.

.....pretty sure these products work by "swelling" the seal to create a closer fit to the cylinder ram, this is an old "fix" and has been used for years.I'm glad you achieved the desired result and I'm sure the product does as it claims HOWEVER, although 15 months have passed with no leak, rest assured it will return.
I did a PM to tennis1 and this is his reply. He ended up with 40% of NO LEAK in his system after two years

Did you empty the reservoir and replace ALL of the fluid with NO LEAK?
If not, how much did you use?
The system holds 1.25 qts=40 oz.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
still no leak , going on two years now. I took out enough fluid to pour all of the 16 oz. NO LEAK brand, power stearing fluid, (power stearing fluid is a hydraulic fluid) my sl500 is a 1998 . thanks

So it seems tjobeid but I hope tennis1 can clarify it and also provide the NO LEAK website.
As far as I understand it should work like a sealant of some sort like the one you put in radiators to stop small leaks or so.
