There are two separate pieces, smaller one across the front, the larger over the main part of the engine. The front is held by small spring metal clamps. Place your finger tips under the right and left sides of the front section, exert upward pressure, alternating side to side and wiggle it off. Be gentle or the clips may come losse and fall into the bottom of the engine compartment and come to rest invisibly somewhere on the cardboard undercover.
That frees the rear cover. Use the same technichique to rock off the rear cover which is also held by friction (plastic pin projections, if I remeber correctly) that fit into sockets. Again be gentle so you don't break the pins, just tease it off. It may be necessary to position your hands at opposite corners of that cover.
When replacing, just line up the pins and sockets an replace with gentle downward pressure.
