Asr 1993 600sl

MY ASR Light came on, on my 1993 600SL. I took it to the dealer and they said it was because i have staggered wheels on my benz! The wheels that I have are the 18" AMG wheels 9" on the front and 10" on the back! Has anyone heard about this or had this problem?

Thanks for help!

Ask them to give you a printout of all the fault codes.
I don't believe is rims or tire sise.

It has never happened to me on my Benz, but it did happen on my Jag, the rear tyres were about an inch smaller than the front ones, bus same wheel size. It could only reach a certain speed before turning on the traction control light

If the overall diameter of your tires front and rear is different, then yes, it will cause that problem. What are the sizes of your tires? Look on the sidewalls.
