1972 350 SL too cheap????

Im looking at buying a 1972 350 SL and the dealer only wants $3,900 for it. It has no rust and only 75K miles on it. I've looked around and all of the other ones I have found have been $10,000 plus! Should I buy this or do you think its a dud?<br> <br> Thanks, Chris

Take it to a mechanic that you trust and have him do an inspection. He should check out all the major systems along with doing a compression test. He should be able to give a good guess as to the milage also. It will cost some money but will give you piece of mind should you buy it.
