1986 560 SL Specs, Standard Equipt. & Pricing

I am looking for accurate information as to the specifications for a 1986 560 SL. I would like to obtain info as to dimensions, engine specs, type of fuel injection, etc. Also, I would like to know exactly what came standard with the car, and, if possible, obtain a listing of optional equipment. Lastly, I would like to get the pricing sheet for the '86 560 SL. I called Mercedes-Benz, and was told that very little information is available. Since I have easily obtained the types of information I seek for american cars, I am sure somebody out there can help me out with a Mercedes.

Much of what you want is right inside the covers of the technical manuals. It is too long to type out here. Example: engine 117.967, 4-cycle, electronic/mechanical gasoline injection system with airflow sensor (CIS-E), ...total effective engine displacement cc 5547 ... etc. There is a CD available which covers all this and more.

Don't know the pricing info. OurSL website by Spencer also lists much data.

Click on this link and go to the bottom and you will find most of your answers in the those links. The difference between the 86 and 88 are very minor.
