I am being offered a 1975 Mercedes 560 slc, low millage. Anybody have any idea what I should pay? Should I buy the car, or will it be too much trouble what with parts being expensive, hard to find, etc. Thanks for the advice.

There was a 1975 450 SLC and a 1980 500SLC but no 1975 560SLC. I think 1980 was the last year for the SLC. They made a 560 SEC, but not in 1975. The 450SLC are very nice but they can be quite expensive to repair, especially if you take it to a shop instead of doing your own work. Check the climate control functions very carefully. Mileage is a factor but the motors will run 350,000 miles with proper maintenance. Parts are not hard to find. They sell from $5000 to $20,000 depending on condition. THey are super solid and an overall great car.
